It is time for our beautiful White Knight to go to his forever home.
White Knight, or Roger as we call him, has been my loving boy and main sire since we retired Lucian.
Why Roger? You ask?
But, alas, after watching him chase his shadow for literally 20m my eldest son started calling him Roger and it stuck.

White Knight = When you think of "White Knight" words like honor, respect, loyalty, integrity and goodness come to mind. Add to that the role of the knight in the game of chess. The knight is the only piece that can be in position to attack a king, queen, bishop, or rook without being reciprocally attacked by that piece. The knight defends and protects. For all of these things our beautiful White Knight was named.

Markings
White Knight is a Seal Lynx Point Bengal. His ground color is ivory with rosetted spots. His points are all the dark seal brown. White Knight has the most gorgeous rosettes that I have ever seen on a Seal Lynx Point as they resemble those found on the clouded leopard. His coat dripping with glitter.

White Knight was born on September 9, xxxx at SimplySimes (breeder Beth Bearry/Lori Simes) in Jackson, California.

Personality
One word: F U N!
White Knight is well, a goober. He is silly and playful. He loves to fetch mice, feathers, pens, stuffed animals....to be honest we haven't found something he won't fetch.
He is so loving and likes to take over a spot with a HUGE plop. This includes keyboards (while one is typing), laps, chairs, you name it.
White Knight makes the most interesting sounds. Whether it be his ALC sounding "meow" or his puffed up pant. If you hear an interesting sound, you can almost bet it is coming out of him!!
Health
White Knight is completely healthy having received a check up and all his shots.
HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) ?June xxxx, December xxxx and October xxxx, and November 15, xxxx, White Knight visited local feline cardiologists (Reed and Siemens) and walked away with a healthy heart report!
PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) - On August 14, xxxx White Knight?s test results were returned as N/N - Normal, cat does not have rdAc mutation.
PK DEF (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency) - On August 14, xxxx, White Knight's test results returned as N/N - no copies of PK deficiency, cat is normal.
White Knight is so loving and such a goober that we have decided to neuter him so that he can live out the rest of his life loving his forever family.

About Our Name
The snow leopard (also known as "ounce") is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia. Why were snow leopards originally called ounce? Research believes it might come from Latin: luncea which means lynx. In French the word became lonce which was altered over time to l?once because French speakers thought the ?L? meant ?the?. We thought Ounce quite appropriate for our majestic cats.
About Bengals
Bengals are absolutely fascinating cats. They have extremely exotic looks accompanied by wild personalities.
They are fully domesticated animals, but the looks come from their origination from a hybrid of the Asian Leopard Cat (ALC) and a domestic cat through a breeding program started by Jean Mill of Millwood Bengals.
Breeding Program
Our extreme love for cats and a passion for sustaining the breed led to the opening of Ounce Cattery.
We breed for temperament (kid friendly, water loving, and personality rich) as well as correct type (great muscle, nocturnal eyes, great whisker pads and thick tails).

We started our breeding program in xxxx with the goal of breeding spotted silver and snow Bengals. In xxxx, with the addition of SimplySimes LesisMore, Ounce Cattery has added brown Bengals as well as the potential of marbled Bengals!
Caring for our cats include keeping the cats under veterinarian care and making sure their environment is fun and almost cage free (doggone Lucian), safe, and sanitary.
